Advocates for Youth condemns in the strongest possible terms the U.S. actions against migrants seeking asylum at the border.  All people have the right to seek safety and work to change their lives for the better.  Migrants deserve to live in our country with dignity and respect. Young people will not stand for racist and hate-filled assaults that shame and scapegoat immigrants working to make a life for themselves in this country.

Further, it should go without saying that attacking children with toxic chemicals is a shameful and immoral act – another in a long line of atrocities perpetrated by this Administration. They must be stopped, and we must fight with the young people working hard to stop them.
