My husband ran away with a very young woman, leaving me with 4 children to raise alone. The oldest was 8. Imagine my emotional state. I began dating for all the wrong reasons…I was not ready. I became pregnant to a man whom I never would have considered marrying. Neither could I have raised another child on my own in addition to the 4 I already had. Of course I would not have chosen what happened, but it did and I felt desperate. Abortion is a desperate act, in my opinion, and needs to be legal.
