At the time I got pregnant, I had been using the pill for over 5 years. When I didn’t have a period, I thought I should keep taking the pill, and when I didn’t have a second period, I tested and found myself pregnant, and panicked when I realized that I had continued dosing the fetus with extra hormones. In addition, I was not ready for a baby and so I visited a clinic that could provide an early D&C. This was back in the 70s, in SoCal.
