When I first realized I was pregnant, I immediately knew what I needed to do. I wasn’t financially stable, and could not provide the home my child deserved. Abortion is NOT a selfish act. It is actually selfless. I loved my unborn child, and it was because of that love that I made the decision to not bring it into what I knew would be an impoverished existence. Some may disagree with my decision, but women like myself should be offered support and unbiased information and not demonized for our decisions. This is why I support the 1 in 3 campaign.
