Tamara Marzouk (she/her, pronounced Tam-uh-ruh Mar-zook) is a licensed clinical social worker and public health program developer who has spent her career focusing on the intersection between youth development, mental health, & reproductive justice. Throughout her career, Tamara has provided trauma-informed support and education to many young people before, during, and after their abortion experiences. She currently serves as the Director of Abortion Access at Advocates for Youth, where she supports a national network of youth activists working to increase abortion access in their communities through practical support, policy advocacy, and storytelling. Additionally, Tamara is a clinical therapist, full-spectrum doula and childbirth educator, providing advocacy, information, and emotional and physical support through all pregnancy outcomes. Tamara believes strongly in the power of dialogue to foster empathy and reduce stigma around sexuality, pregnancy, abortion, and pregnancy loss.
