Advocates for Youth condemns the Supreme Court’s decision to lift the eviction moratorium ordered by the Biden Administration. Housing is a right. Young people are more likely than adults to experience unemployment and poverty, and no young person should find themselves facing housing insecurity in the midst of a global pandemic. Being able to raise your family in a safe and secure environment, including stable housing, is also a key principle of reproductive justice.  We urge the Supreme Court to consider human beings and human needs in its decisions rather than continuing to rubber stamp the conservative corporate agenda.
