Once again, the president and Senate Republicans have proven that they don’t care about women’s health by confirming the nomination of Judge Neil Gorsuch for the Supreme Court. Through ugly and undemocratic means, they have placed on the highest court of the land a man who is a direct threat to the rights of women, young people, the LGBT community, immigrants and all who face discrimination in this country.

Young people and all Americans deserve better than these legislators that insist on trampling over our democratic ideas and Constitutional rights. We can only hope, that the newly-confirmed Judge Gorsuch will turn his ear away from heartless ideologues and corporate interest groups, and instead listen to the voices of everyday Americans that he is now sworn to protect.
