April 10th is National Youth HIV / AIDs awareness day, and youth ages 14-26 are a disproportionately affected age bracket. We are hosting an event to introduce the conversation, on campus, of safe sexual health practice as a necessity for youth health.

URGE will be tabling for comprehensive sexual health education on the UAB Green. We will also be celebrating National Youth HIV/AIDS Day by sharing information on getting tested, treatment, and prevention education.

Join UMBC student organizations as they come together for a roundtable discussion about HIV/AIDS and the social movement to eradicate the virus.

NYHAAD with Merced LGBTQ+ Alliance
April 10, 2018 
The Merced LGBTQ+ Alliance will host a National Youth HIV/AIDS Awareness Day event on April 10, 2018.. This event will be open to the public.

The event layout will be a disscussion-based table, where participants visit booths in the space to learn about prevention methods, obtain free supplies, unpack the racist and homophobic rhetoric born out of the crisis in the 80’s, and get plugged in with resources around the county (as well as virtual resources).
