I had an abortion over 30 years ago. It was not a big deal, it was not at Planned Parenthood with screaming protesters...and it was so long ago I don't remember all the details.

I had my first and only abortion at a Planned Parenthood center in April of 2013. Protesters stood outside, calling me a "young mother" and asking me not to do it. I was 22, scared, and miserable.

I am 29. I found out that I was pregnant after I felt my breasts felt sore and I had nausea. I went to the doctor immediately.
