AMAZE.org announces awards totaling 396,000 USD that will support six organizations in delivering AMAZE animated videos to their region and increase access to free sexual health information and resources
As sexual and reproductive health experts continue to study COVID-19’s impact on efforts to accurately and effectively trace and detect sexually transmitted infections, Advocates for Youth today announced the launch of its #DoGoodFeelGood campaign aimed at increasing young people’s access to condoms and sexual health knowledge, as well as masks.
Advocates for Youth applauds President Biden for taking the first steps to undo the harms of the previous administration’s dangerous and restrictive policies that robbed countless people of the right to control their own bodies and access sexual and reproductive health care, including abortion.
Today, the Blueprint for Sexual and Reproductive Health, Rights, and Justice, representing more than 100 bold, progressive organizations, published a full-page ad in the Washington Post highlighting top priorities for the Biden-Harris administration to swiftly expand access to sexual and reproductive health, rights, and justice.
". Our research found that sex education has the potential do so much more. The impact of quality sex education that addresses the broad range of sexual health topics extends beyond pregnancy and STIs and can improve school success, mental health, and safety. As with all other areas of the curriculum, building an early foundation and scaffolding learning with developmentally appropriate content and teaching are key to long-term development of knowledge, attitudes, and skills that support healthy sexuality."
