New York, NY — As state lawmakers across the country move forward with dangerous abortion bans and restrictions, Generation Z is mobilizing to ensure abortion remains accessible in their local communities through “Abortion on Campus,” a new campaign by Advocates for Youth and Planned Parenthood Generation Action.

Advocates for Youth welcomes the historic confirmation of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court. Judge Jackson is exceptionally qualified and we look forward to her service on the Court. We  are thrilled to see the first Black woman appointed to the Supreme Court - an important milestone long overdue.

Advocates for Youth is thrilled with the historic nomination of Ketanji Brown Jackson to the U.S, Supreme Court. She is eminently qualified, with distinguished experience as a federal judge, and will serve as a role model for young Black women everywhere.

As the Court continues to address the critical issues impacting young people such as abortion justice, affirmative action, and equitable treatment for transgender youth, the President must not waste any time in nominating a Black woman to the Supreme Court.

All young people deserve to see themselves reflected in school curricula. Research shows that a person’s identities are strongly linked to their health outcomes. We can’t, and shouldn’t, ignore the unique challenges youth of color are facing in their lives.
