Rachel is the Graphic Design and Artivism Coordinator at Advocates for Youth where she creates digital and print materials to further Advocates’ activism and campaigns in a meaningful way. Prior to joining the Advocates’ team, Rachel bolstered her design and storytelling skills as an art intern at Cosmopolitan Magazine and through obtaining a BFA in Visual Arts and a minor in Creative Writing from Cornell University. In addition to her arts background, Rachel has several years of experience working directly with youth, particularly youth with developmental and physical differences, at Capital Camps, a summer overnight camp that aims to create inclusive experiences for all campers. She has also worked as an education intern for the Herbert F. Johnson Museum, where she assisted workshops that utilized art as both a learning tool and as therapy for children with learning disabilities.
