Arlene Basilio is the Senior Graphic Design Manager at Advocates
for Youth. Arlene works with the Communications team on the development
of graphics and illustrations for the organization, while ensuring brand
integrity across all digital and print platforms.
From 2013-2016, Arlene was the Graphic Design and Web Development
Coordinator at Advocates for Youth but  ventured out to Los Angeles with
a mission to help grassroots organizations and startups elevate their brands
through Creative Direction. She was also a Design Specialist at L.A. Care, the
largest publicly operated health plan in the U.S., where she spearheaded
UX/UI design and marketing strategies on large-scale projects to promote
accessible health care for vulnerable and low-income communities in L.A.
County. After 9+ years of sharpening her design and project management
skills, Arlene is proud to be back on the AfY team, where it all started, to
implement her learnings.
